Daisy - September 2011

Daisy is a Female, Min Pin. She has an amazing personality! Very sweet and outgoing. Loves to be loved on, and loves a good belly rub. :) Daisy has been fostered since early September 2011. Her foster family loves her to death! She can be very playful one minute and a lap dog the next. She loves to be with people, and so far while being at the foster house she is crate trained. They are working on house training. She will obviously need time to adjust at your house and get into a routine with you. While with the foster family she has done wonderful with the crate training. She will play with toys, balls, etc. She walks wonderfully on a leash, seems to love most other dogs once they get over the initial smelling, etc. She knows sit, down, crawl, and most of the time will do speak on command. She is very smart, and could be taught about anything you wanted to teach her. She is an awesome dog! She does love playing but also loves to settle down or a nap with her favorite person. She is an all around great dog. She is spayed and current on her shots/heartworm prevention.

10 Chipmunk Pups - 2010-2011

There is so very much to add here. To save hours of time I will just post the blog we had set up for the Chipmunks. From the time we got them until the last one was adopted they were all fostered. That blog and this blog are updated and managed by the foster family.

To wet your appetite...imagine being less then a week old, and thrown alongside the road in teen temps in a cardboard box in January.....

Ella - October 2011

Ella is a pregnant owner surrender dog. She is a Schnauzer Mix, and a total sweetie! She is being fostered. If all goes well she will have her puppies with her foster family, and when the time is right for them to be adopted, the puppies and Ella will be adopted.

Who we are...

This blog will be all about the fostered dogs we've had or still have for the HART Foundation in Lexington, NC. This is updated by the foster families. Some will be previous fosters already adopted, and others will be current fosters who are or will be up for adoption. Regardless, they will all have been to their "Pit Stop Along The Way", so this documents some of the journey. All dogs already adopted will have "Adopted" listed on their story. Those not adopted, or not yet ready will say nothing. If interested in seeing if a dog not listed as adopted, is up for adoption please email us at: hartfordogs@yahoo.com or email@hartfoundation.org
We will not make multiple post for each dog. We will have one post per dog and will update it as needed. Look at the links on the right side to see the individual pages. They are in no particular order.
